CHALLENGE:
Intermedia, a top U.S. reseller of Microsoft Exchange services, had grown significantly since 2000, expanding to 20 business applications and 700 employees. However, their website struggled to reflect this growth. The complexity of their product suite made it difficult for users to understand their offerings and differentiators. The challenge was to redesign the website to enhance the brand, improve user experience, and simplify content organization. Additionally, they needed a more flexible CMS to allow easy updates without developer involvement.
SOLUTION:
We reimagined Intermedia's brand with a human touch, refreshing the visual aesthetic while keeping its signature colors. To improve user experience, we mapped user journeys, organizing content into clear, digestible sections for both high-level and technical audiences.
To position Intermedia as a thought leader, we added downloadable assets to product pages and highlighted the "Why Choose Intermedia" narrative across the site, emphasizing their Worry-Free experience.
For seamless content management, we implemented Fuel, a PHP-based platform enabling easy updates without developer help. Post-launch, we used Optimizely for real-time personalization, tailoring messaging to visitors' business verticals. This led to a 31% boost in lead generation.
